Professor Andy Brooks
Clinical Chair and GP
Appointed by the Board of the National Association of Primary Care (NAPC) we are pleased to announce that, effective 1st September 2025, Professor Andy Brooks will take on the role of Clinical Chair. Professor Brooks succeeds Dr Caroline Taylor, who has led the organisation with distinction since September 2021.
Since joining the NAPC Faculty in July 2024, Professor Brooks has played an active role in advancing NAPC’s Neighbourhood initiatives nationwide, working closely with local systems. His extensive experience and leadership will be instrumental in guiding NAPC’s clinical strategy forward.
Dr Caroline Taylor will continue to contribute to NAPC as part of the Clinical Faculty, focusing on the Community Health and Wellbeing Workers initiative.
