This webinar will explore digitisation in healthcare through population health thinking, focussing on the role of technology in helping to meet current and future health and care priorities. The session will discuss how we can harness technology’s potential in a post-COVID-19 health system – including tackling the deep seated health inequalities exposed by the pandemic.

The webinar will include practical insights from York Medical Practice, North West London health system and health information company Cognitant.

NAPC Digital – NAPC’s digital adoption support programme – will give an update on its work to embed technology within a population health approach across the country and will discuss findings form its forthcoming report on healthcare digitisation.

A joint webinar with NAPC and NHS Elect to explore population health – including how the approach has evolved in recent years, population health at place and neighbourhood level, its role in collaboration and partnerships, how it can tackle health inequalities and what the future holds for the approach – particularly in relation to the proposed new legislated ICS structure.

The webinar will include case studies of population health in action and plenty of practical advice to help your organisation or system to develop an approach that is aligned to the needs of your communities and workforce. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in a dedicated Q&A.
