Was good to hear from the Minister, Stephen Kinnock MP in what was one of his first conferences since taking office and from Sally Warren on the 10-year plan.
What was apparent was that whilst there are many areas across the country doing ‘bits’ on integration, there is no where embracing the ‘whole’ and yet here at NAPC we have been working in this space for quite some time and the benefits to the communities in areas such as Dorset and Kent and Medway are demonstrating significant improvements in delivering and receiving care. What was noticeable was the engagement from both the ICBs and secondary care but less so from primary care and local government where many of the solutions to this sit.
