This report, “From Crisis to Community: The CHWW Model as a Neighbourhood Health VCSE Asset,” presents the interim Social Value Report for the Community Health and Wellbeing Workers (CHWW) programme in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (CIOS) for 2024/25.

The report evaluates the social and economic value generated by the CHWW programme, which now supports 40 workers embedded in the 20% most deprived areas across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Using Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology, the evaluation demonstrates that the programme generates £2.33 of social value for every £1 invested. The report also details strong, statistically significant improvements in the wellbeing and personal concerns of the people it supports.
