
The latest CHWW infographic (Sept 2024 – March 2025) highlights the incredible progress of the Community Health and Wellbeing Worker programme across Cornwall. With 6,062 pre-engagement contacts, 538 households supported, and over 1,876 face-to-face visits, CHWWs continue to embed themselves into communities, hosting events, providing essential support, and driving meaningful change.
Key milestones include the expansion of teams in Newquay, Penzance, and Newlyn, with three new partner organisations joining the programme. The CHWWs have also gained national and international recognition, winning the Health Equity Award at the South West Integrated Personalised Care Awards and featuring at the EuroPrev Conference in Zagreb.
